Wilder's Art Glass Studio (WAGS)

  • At WAGS, each fused-glass piece is handmade at the studio.
    • Every piece is a "one of a kind design".
    • Plates, bowls, and other shapes are functional pieces of art.
    • All pieces are made from food safe Bullseye glass.
  • Only professional quality glass and traditional glass forming techniques are employed.
    • Colored sheets of glass are cut into designs and fused at 1,425 degrees.
    • Fused pieces are "slumped" into molds at 1,250 degrees to give them their final shape.
    • Pieces are annealed at two steps in the cooling process to give them added strength.
