Charles is the owner of WAGS - Wilder's Art Glass Studio. He received his glass training at Gatlinburg’s Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts. Prior to opening his glass studio, he worked in Great Smoky Mountains National Park on the All Taxa Biodiversity Inventory. Charles spends much of his free time in the Park doing volunteer work and taking photos, many of which are displayed at his glass studio.
